SeaDek has manufacturing facilities in Rockledge and Cocoa, Fla., and posted 2020 sales of about $25 million, according to a news release from Patrick Industries. Terms were not disclosed.
Patrick Industries will continue to operate SeaDek on a stand-alone basis under its brand names in its existing facilities, the company said.
Kurt Wilson, CEO of SeaDek, said: "My brother Jim and I, along with the rest of the SeaDek team, are pleased to join the Patrick family and continue the legacy of SeaDek after nearly four decades as a family-owned business."
This is the second plastics acquisition this year for Patrick Industries. On March 15, the company acquired Everett, Wash.-based Sea-Dog Corp., a distributor of marine and powersports products and accessories with a sister injection molding company, Sea-Lect Plastics.
Patrick Industries, which was founded in 1959, posted sales of $2.5 billion for 2020 with 8,700 employees at 170 production and distribution facilities serving the recreational vehicle and manufactured housing markets in addition to marine.
