Pexco LLC has made its second acquisition of 2024, buying Precise Aerospace Manufacturing Inc. for an undisclosed price.
PAM is a plastics processor based in Yorba Linda, Calif. The firm offers injection molding, compression molding and transfer molding, as well as assembly and contract manufacturing. PAM makes parts from high performance resins such as PEEK, polyphenylene sulfide and polyetherimide.
In a news release, officials with Pexco in Johns Creek, Ga., said the acquisition enhances the firm's injection molding and material science capabilities and increases its presence on the U.S. West Coast. The deal also builds on Pexco's presence in the aerospace, defense, medical and electronics markets.
The acquisition of PAM "marks a significant milestone" in Pexco's strategic growth journey, CEO Sam Patel said. "We look forward to integrating [PAM's] expertise seamlessly into Pexco's operations, further advancing our position as a leader in engineered plastic components."
PAM CEO Roxanne Abdi added that combining with Pexco "enables us to continue building on both companies' reputation for quality products and service excellence."
PAM was founded as Precise Plastic Products in 1965.
The PAM acquisition is Pexco's 14th since 2018. In June, Pexco acquired an assembly plant in Wallingford, Conn., from Clayens NP Group of France.
With estimated sales of $330 million, Pexco is the 21st-largest pipe, profile and tubing producer in North America, according to Plastics News data. The firm employs more than 600.
