Pexco LLC has kicked off 2025 by doing more of its favorite activity: making an acquisition.
This time, Alpharetta, Ga.-based Pexco has acquired Wisconsin Plastic Products Inc. of Plymouth, Wis., for an undisclosed price. It's Pexco's 16th acquisition since 2018, including three it made in 2024.
WPP is a leading supplier of custom extrusions for original equipment manufacturers in telecommunications, data centers, refrigeration, general industrial, technology, lighting and other sectors. In a news release, Pexco officials said the deal "expands Pexco's custom extrusion capacity and engineering expertise, while increasing our presence in the Midwest."
WPP specializes in complex profiles requiring tight tolerances made with highly engineered plastics, as well as co- and tri-extrusion. The firm makes some of the largest profile extrusions in North America, with the capability of manufacturing profiles up to 36 inches in width.
Most recently, Pexco in October bought K. Jabat Inc. of Green Brook, N.J., for an undisclosed price. KJI makes custom extrusions including ABS tubing, high density polyethylene profiles, polystyrene cores and custom tubes and profiles in various engineering resins.
With estimated sales of $350 million, Pexco comes in at No. 20 in Plastics News' ranking of pipe, profile and tubing producers in North America. The firm employs more than 600.
