Miami — Italy-based machine builder Plastiblow srl (S13065) will show a new all-electric blow molding extrusion machine at NPE2024.
The double-station PB15ED model machine will produce 500-milliliter oval cosmetic bottles from HDPE in a 4+4 cavity setup.
The machine has a 15-ton clamp, quad parison extrusion head at 4-by-100-mm center distance, extruder 90/28D with high-throughput barrier design screw and servo-drive parison cutting unit.
With the automated takeout units, which have servo-driven motors on two axes, the bottles will be picked up in the deflashing station and moved to the merge conveyor, which will bring them to the left side of the machine for further downstream operations.
Founded in 1964, Plastiblow serves processors of plastic bottles and hollow-body containers for the cosmetics, personal hygiene, pharmaceutical, medical, food, house cleaning, chemistry and automotive markets.
Plastiblow machinery is distributed in North America by Globeius Inc. of Miami.
