Plastics and its real-world ramifications on the environment will take center stage of the 2024 Plastics News Executive Forum, to be held March 12-13 at the Wyndham Grand in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
This year’s signature event for leaders in the plastics industry will feature a blue-ribbon panel discussing the issue of plastics waste and some of the global initiatives that will affect processors both today and in the near future.
The panel will include Patrick Shewell, director of global sustainable packaging at Mondelez International Inc; David Clark, vice president of sustainability at Amcor; Brian Hankin, chief marketing and innovation officer at Altium Packaging; and Yvonne van der Laan, executive vice president for circular and low-carbon solutions a LyndellBasell. The session will be moderated by Plastics News Assistant Managing Editor Steve Toloken.
The 2024 Executive Forum will also feature a discussion on PFAS restrictions and their effect on the plastics industry in North America, in a talk from Peter Schmitt, managing director of Montesino.
