Resin distributor PolySource LLC now is offering acetal resins made by Delrin USA LLC.
The agreement covers the North American market. In a news release, Delrin Americas commercial leader Angad Kalsi said the firm's Delrin-brand acetal "is the market-leading homopolymer acetal and is a key ingredient in products ranging from cars to consumer goods, industrial and manufacturing, medical devices and electronics."
He added that Polysource's "differentiated approach to problem solving" provides a strategic fit with Delrin's focus on creating value through functional part design.
"Our shared vision of go-to-market strategy coupled with PolySource's already robust presence in the wear and friction segment will no doubt result in an amazing partnership for years to come," said Damien Couch, chief development officer with Overland Park, Kan.-based PolySource said.
The line card addition is the second of the year in North America for PolySource. Earlier the firm added engineered nylon materials made by Ascend Performance Materials.
PolySource offers resins, compounds and concentrates from more than 25 suppliers. The firm topped Plastics News' Best Places to Work list in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. It will be at Booth S26193 at NPE2024.
