Italy-based recycling machinery manufacturer Previero has acquired Parini, an Italian manufacturer of waste sorting machinery.
The acquisition is Previero’s first since Ambienta, a European large asset manager focusing on environmental sustainability, acquired a majority stake in the business which had been managed by the Previero family since 1922.
The parties did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Parini specializes in the development and production of equipment for separation of waste into various types, such as rigid plastics and films, as well as the removal of contaminants. Its product offering includes vibrating feeders, chain conveyors, dust extraction, belt and storage conveyors, drum screens, ballistic and air separators, and entire sorting plants.
“I am thrilled to welcome Parini, one of our most trusted partners with whom we have cultivated a long-standing relationship,” said Giuseppe di Carpegna, CEO at Previero. “This acquisition allows us to expand into the highly attractive sorting sector, further enhancing our turnkey solutions. It aligns perfectly with our top priority: delivering world-class, end-to-end solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers.”
Previero provides turnkey recycling ‘bale to flake’ solutions for all types of feedstock, including rubber, PET, and films. The company offers a range of size reduction machinery - grinders, shredders, pelletizers, dicers, and agglomerators. It also supports its customers in the design and commissioning of complete recycling lines for the treatment of materials such as copper wires, tires, and post-consumer packaging.
