Nupro LLC, a maker of thermoplastic polyurethane protective films, is set to at least double its production capacity at its headquarters plant in South Deerfield, Mass.
A new 124,680-square-foot facility supplement existing operations in South Deerfield. Once complete, the company plans to consolidate operations on that site.
Nupro plans to invest in up to $10 million in new manufacturing equipment and create nearly 60 new jobs.
The Massachusetts Economic Assistance Coordinating Council has approved $580,000 in tax credits for the project via its economic development incentive programme. A 10-year tax increment financing plan worth more than $300,000 has been approved by its home town of South Deerfield.
The company’s extruded aliphatic TPU surface protection films are used in sectors such as automotive, wind energy and electronics.
