Orlando, Fla.-based PureCycle Technologies Inc. believes it provides more than a paycheck; it proves purpose. When the PureCycle went public in March 2021, all team members were given shares in the company.
"We encourage collaboration and firmly believe that ideas are better when we put our heads together," the company said. "PureCycle wants every employee to challenge the status quo. How can we do things differently or better?"
Salaried employees have an open vacation policy that allows for flexibility and a work-life balance. Even before the pandemic forced many workers to do business from home, PureCycle had created an environment where the team could work from anywhere. "This shows our team that we trust them and their capabilities, and there is nothing more valuable than feeling as if your manager or your company's executives trust you," said the company, which converts polypropylene plastic waste into like-new plastic.
Employees celebrated its second annual day of service, Pure Planet Day, in June 2022, which included building a greenhouse in Orlando and cleaning plastic waste around roads in Ohio.
