Resource Label Group LLC recently made its 29th acquisition, purchasing TQL Packaging Solutions of Dallas.
TQL offers flexographic printing, labels, shrink sleeves, pouches, roll-fed wrap, and tamper-evident and fin-seal packaging for a variety of industries.
RLG provides pressure-sensitive labels and labeling identification technology, flexible packaging and shrink sleeves. In a recent news release, RLG said its markets include packaging for personal care, food and beverage, household, chemical, pharmaceutical and medical products.
Franklin, Tenn.-based RLG employs 1,700 at 28 locations. This year, the company launched RLGreen, a line of thin, lightweight labels that it said are compostable and "recycle friendly," made from post-consumer recycled materials and renewable resources.
RGL is owned by Los Angeles-based Ares Management Corp., which bought it in July 2021 from First Atlantic Capital and TPG Growth.
