Joe Maglich, 34
Account and Product Manager
M. Holland Co.
Joe Maglich's career started at Lincoln Electric as an associate and chemical engineering intern, beginning after high school and extending through college. Maglich's father was also at Lincoln Electric, working from the assembly line up to foreman.
He said his father was "hugely influential" to him for "his incredibly strong work ethic and commitment to his family."
"We lost him in 2012 and he's greatly missed, but his legacy lives on through these values," Maglich said.
Maglich joined DuPont Co. as a co-op engineer in 2007 then corporate field engineer in the Performance Coatings business unit in 2010. He also had experience at Axalta Coating Systems as a principal investigator and applications engineer, T&T Marketing as an account manager and product manager, and now resin distributor M. Holland Co. in Philadelphia as an account manager and product manager.
In 2019, he received the M. Holland MPact Award for the Business Development group, which includes wire and cable.
"I earned that award for growing territory sales far beyond expectations at +170 percent, breaking into companies and starting sales where we were previously unsuccessful or unknown, recapturing high-volume business and growing my product line with Electric Cable Compounds," he said.
Kristina Leal of Ink Communications nominated Maglich for Rising Stars.
