St. Louis-based sign and sign printing equipment supplier Grimco Inc. has acquired sheet extruder New Hampshire Plastics LLC, effective in March.
"NHP's products are key components for graphics and printing, point-of-purchase displays, medical and food packaging, the aerospace industry and agricultural markets," an April 16 news release said.
Manchester, N.H.-based NHP also provides in-house lab capabilities for color matching and custom blends, and it holds exclusive technology rights for lightweight high-impact polystyrene sheet manufacturing that can provide up to 40 percent weight savings for products.
Grimco did not respond to questions from Plastics News.
"Operating for nearly 50 years with a history of consistent revenue and profitability, the ownership of NHP decided to explore a transaction to facilitate succession planning and ensure the business was well-positioned for the future," the release said.
Grimco distributes wholesale sign supplies and sign printing equipment from more than 50 locations in North America. The company offers equipment, wide format printing and laminating products, general and electrical sign supplies, and fully fabricated traffic signs.
