Specialty sensor maker BinMaster moved into a new headquarters in mid-July at the innovation campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
Earlier this year, the company also had to move to a new factory, after its Lincoln plant was hit by a F3 tornado on April 26.
The 115,000-square-foot facility was destroyed in less than 20 seconds. More than 70 employees were inside, but the company reported no serious injuries. All machines, tools, molding and automation equipment was destroyed, according to local reports.
The company temporarily suspended operations, but managed to set up a new 40,000-square-foot warehouse and manufacturing plant a few miles away and started assembling level sensors and wireless devices there within three weeks of the disaster.
