Seeking to expand its presence and grow new business in Europe, Kiev-based manufacturer of masterbatches and additives Technocom LLC has recently opened a new trade office in Slovenia.
The company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, has seen a steady rise in demand for its products at home and overseas and has therefore increased production volumes by 25 percent over the past two years.
“A growing number of companies from the EU (Poland, Hungary, Italy, Germany) have gradually begun trusting our products. Main advantages of our products are quality and price. We offer competitive and cost-effective solutions for our customers based on their requirements,” said founder and director Petrenko Sergii.
With the 2018 establishment of trading company Technocom Compounds doo in Slovenia, the Ukranian supplier has now expanded its geographical reach to Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia.
The move has made it easier to reach EU customers. The company will transfer small batches of its products to the Slovenian city of Celje for European shipments.
Larger orders, above 20 tonnes, will be shipped directly from Ukraine to the customer, explained Sergii.
Technocom manufactures 15 kilotonnes per annum of REACH-registered Technofin-branded masterbatches (white, black, color), Additech modifying additives and Credolen calcium carbonate fillers at its production plant in Irpin, near Kiev.
The company claims to offer cost-effective solutions in the current “tough” economic conditions, with speedy delivery of not more than two weeks, significantly faster than South Asian suppliers.
In addition, as of 2019, Ukranian exports to European destinations will not be subject to custom duties, making Technocom’s products more convenient and cost-effective.
Technocom will be at K 2019 at Hall 7 Booth C17.
