Blow mold machinery maker Uniloy Inc. is buying the shuttle mold and technical service portions of FGH Systems.
FGH, based in Denville, N.J., has been a sales, molds and service representative of the company for three decades.
FGH "will continue, with an expanded role, to represent Uniloy's complete product line of blow molding machines, molds and services," Uniloy said.
"FGH's shuttle mold design and manufacturing assets will integrate into Uniloy's existing Fremont, Ohio, and Tecumseh, Mich., facilities, which manufacture reciprocating, wheel, industrial, and shuttle molds," Uniloy said in a statement.
Equipment from FGH's shuttle technical center will move to Uniloy's technical center in Tecumseh. This includes three Uniloy shuttle laboratory machines as well as what is described as supporting process equipment.
"Welcoming FGH into the Uniloy family will have extremely positive impacts on both of our companies, as well as enhance the offerings and services we provide our customers," Uniloy CEO Gary W. Riley Sr. said in a statement.
"The last few years under Uniloy's new ownership and leadership, along with their team's efforts, have been impressive," FGH President Eric Hohmann added. "Uniloy has made commitments and investments in new technology, machine improvements, service, spare parts, molds, tooling, tech center, and its people.
"The integration of FGH into Uniloy will offer even more capabilities than ever for our customers," he said.
