Ever Home Plastics LLC, a subsidiary of Vietnam-based Vacane Home Concepts Inc., is opening its first U.S. production facility in North Carolina.
Ever Home expects to invest $3.65 million and over the next four years create 46 new jobs in Rowan County, includes the city of Salisbury.
"We're eager to bring more job opportunities to our Rowan community, supporting workforce development that will contribute to the long-term prosperity of the region," Leo Hu, owner and CEO of Vacane Home Concepts, said in a news release.
Operations on the facility are expected to begin in January 2025. The site is a redeveloped industrial park and will be focused on injection molding of home organization products.
Ever Home Plastics' products will be supplied to retailers such as The Container Store, Walmart, Target, Lowe's and Dollar General.
Ever Home's other facilities are in Vietnam. It holds more than 290 patents across various product lines in housewares. The new facility is seen as a complement to the existing operations, and the company is committed to creating high quality organizational products to create more functional environments.
The Rowan EDC economic development group has worked closely with the Development Partnership of North Carolina to support Ever Home. Rowan EDC also collaborated with North Carolina Community College System to set up a workforce training through Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
"The reuse of Mid-South Industrial Park demonstrates Rowan County's ability to attract a diverse range of industries by offering turnkey facilities in a strategic location," said Rod Crider, president of EDC in a news release. "We look forward to seeing Ever Home Plastics LLC become a part of our business community."
