An employee at cart and pallet injection molder Rehrig Pacific Co. was killed in an industrial accident at the company's facility in Dinwiddie County, Va., on June 27.
The Dinwiddie County fire and EMS units arrived on location at 2:15 a.m.
According to CBS 6 News in Richmond, Va., Major William Knott with the Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Office said the worker got caught in a machine. The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry and the state Medical Examiner's Office are investigating.
Rehrig Pacific officials did not respond to questions from Plastics News.
