Automotive molder Windsor Mold USA Inc.'s Tenneplas Manufacturing division is investing $5.9 million in a 37,500-square-foot expansion to add capacity for warehousing and manufacturing to its Pulaski, Tenn. facility.
The investment includes $2.4 million in manufacturing equipment purchased by the company, according to a Dec. 10 news release from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
The expansion is expected to create 40 jobs over the next five years, it said.
"Our Tenneplas facility continues to expand to support our great customers," Windsor Mold President David Mastronardi said in the release. "We have an outstanding team that continues to provide quality, innovative products and are very excited for this next growth stage for Tenneplas."
Windsor Mold did not immediately respond to inquiry for comment by Plastics News including when the expansion is expected to be operational.
Tenneplas produces exterior moldings, grille opening reinforcements, wheel liners, cowl vents and splash shields at the Pulaski facility, where it currently has more than 130 employees.
