Conventus Polymers LLC has announced the appointment of Arvind Rao as Application Development and Technology Manager, based in Rochester, N.Y. He will oversee business development with OEMs and molders in upstate New York and western Pennsylvania, as well as lead several special projects.
Rao has more than 25 years of technical and sales experience with roles in engineering, market development, and account management. He recently served as principal engineer with Bausch Health where he led advanced polymer and process research for contact lenses.
Rao earned bachelor of science and master of science degrees in chemical engineering from Cleveland State University.
