Conventus Polymers LLC has announced the appointment of Nicole Person as Application Development Engineer, based in San Francisco, Calif. She will oversee business development activities with OEMs and molders on the West Coast, focusing on electrical/electronics, electric vehicle (EV), and semiconductor markets. Person has more than 14 years of technical and sales experience in the plastics industry with wide-ranging roles in sales and marketing, strategic planning, as well as material design and selection. She most recently served as Senior Business Development Manager with Avient (formerly PolyOne) where she was responsible for growing their thermoplastic elastomer business across seven western states. She also worked as Territory Account Manager/Business Development Leader for PolyOne and Sales Development Leader for SABIC Innovative Plastics. Person earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Purdue University.
