North American prices for recycled PVC clear industrial regrind have remained steady throughout 2024, but differ from previous levels.
The August price drop for PVC was tied into lower construction activity in the region. Construction accounts for 60 percent of the market for the material.
In July, the downward price pressure on standard recyclate in Europe eased for higher quality grades; however, prices for most lower specification material remained under pressure.
