For 2023, Conair has made team enhancements across the business to make it more customer centered and responsive to market demands. They focused on five critical areas of the relationship, including the need for market-leading auxiliary equipment, turnkey systems solutions, faster selection and delivery of equipment units, expanded extrusion capabilities, and more responsive sales and service across North America. Here’s what all those changes mean to you:
Conair structures to focus on more products, expanded customer services, and enhanced support
With the retirement (after 50 years!) of our long-time VP of Extrusion, Ernie Preiato, Conair Group is appointing another longtime employee and 30-year extrusion expert, Chris Weinrich, to lead our fast-growing extrusion business as Director, Extrusion Sales. Chris now leads our extrusion team, directing the sales of upstream and downstream auxiliaries needed to produce tube, pipe, and profile extrusions and leading the continued development and expansion of Conair’s extrusion product lines. As always, Chris and the extrusion team, together with the success of our customers, are supported by the skilled staff of Conair’s extrusion applications center in Pinconning, Michigan.
To ensure you get the products you need, Conair delivers our products through the largest auxiliary equipment sales organization in North America, comprising 12 independent sales agencies and 45 sales representatives at locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Ensuring that your local representative can provide the product and support you need, National Sales Manager Tom Bishop leads a team of regional managers who are dedicated to working with local manufacturer’s representatives to help solve application problems and deliver comprehensive and profitable processing solutions.
Driving development and manufacturing of new and improved products across Conair’s entire array of auxiliary equipment – blending, conveying, drying, extrusion, heat transfer, material storage, and size reduction – is a huge task. And, until early 2023, it was a task directed by individual Conair product managers, who split time between product development and sales support. Now, all of those product managers report through a streamlined process to A.J. Zambanini, Director of Product Management, who consolidates and coordinates all non-extrusion product development. So, when you need the help and expertise of a Conair product manager, you’ll get it, faster than ever.
Customers often find that it is difficult and expensive for them to employ the specialized personnel needed to engineer, develop, and install major systems successfully, whether they are new production lines or complete processing plants. So, more and more have turned to Conair for turnkey systems development, engineering, and installation. To deliver on this growing demand, Conair Group appointed Nick Paradiso as Director of a new, dedicated Systems Group that features an expanded team of in-house engineering, procurement, and project management experts, as well as traveling teams who bring the priceless installation, integration, and commissioning experience you expect for your own, successful turnkey systems projects.
Sometimes customers only need one or two critical pieces of auxiliary equipment, very quickly, to put their production systems right. And to be sure that they get the right equipment, rapidly, Conair has appointed Lane Brewster as Director, Unit Sales Group. Lane now directs a dedicated team of product and technical experts with a single responsibility: Helping you to evaluate, size, and select Conair auxiliary equipment, options, or accessories that precisely suit your application requirements and then delivering them, rapidly and reliably, when you need them most.
Bring Conair your challenges, so that you can see and experience the deep resources of knowledge, experience, and capability Conair has to offer.
