With the launch of their new line of Bulk Bag Conditioners, Ensign Equipment provides a long-awaited addition to their portfolio of bulk bag handling solutions. Engineered to break up solidified and non-free-flowing material that is stored in bulk bags (also known as big bags, super sacks, or FIBCs), Ensign provides more smart solutions that keep with their tradition of delivering robust and reliable equipment that is built to stand the test of time.
“For over 30 years, Ensign has maintained a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions to meet the unique application requirements of our customers,” said V.P. of Sales & Marketing Andrew Hartline. “This new line of Bulk Bag Conditioners will give us another essential tool for assisting them with their bulk material handling needs, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact it’s going to bring them.”
The new line of Bulk Bag Conditioners includes stand-alone designs for pre-conditioning of bags before the discharge process, as well as various configurations that directly integrate with Ensign’s existing line of Bulk Bag Unloading Stations. All of Ensign’s Bulk Bag handling systems can be constructed from carbon steel, stainless steel, or mixed construction and can be coupled with their ever-expanding library of modular and configurable options for operator safety, advanced automation and systems integration.
The stand-alone conditioner features a thick-walled square tube frame along with all protective guards and sensors required to keep operators free from hazards of moving components and pinch points. Two hydraulically actuated conditioning rams, which each produce over 29,000 lbs. of force, and a variable-height turntable allows the machine access to all portions of the bulk bag. The integrated PLC with HMI gives full control to operators for each step of the process and enables bags to be conditioned automatically while personnel focus on more value-add processing tasks.
All of Ensign’s Bulk Material Handling Equipment comes backed by an industry-leading two-year warranty and is delivered alongside best-in-class customer service. Whether there is a need for custom designs, operator training, or product and technical support, Ensign Equipment is committed to keep their customer’s equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently for years to come.
