Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Woojin Plaimm launched the “2020 IN-HOUSE ONLINE EXHIBITION” Dec. 22, 2020. Since then, it has continuously held and operated the second and third online exhibitions through the official homepage (woojinplaimm.com/exhibitions/) in February and April. The newest addition is the “Online Factory Tour” June 22 and opening in virtual reality (VR).
Woojin Plaimm set to open VR-based ‘Online Factory Tour’
Continuously opening online exhibitions since December 2020, Woojin Plaimm’s newest exhibition goes live June 22.
Woojin Plaimm has, thus far, consistently held the in-house exhibition as an annual event that can share the advanced technologies and information on the plastic injection molding industry. In addition, the exhibition could also be a window for opportunities so that customers can experience the peripherals and technologies related to plastic molding, as well as the biggest and most advanced manufacturing facilities of injection molding machines in the country. Even if Woojin Plaimm tried to hold the “2020 IN-HOUSE EXHIBITION” in its factory last year, Woojin Plaimm changed its strategy into an online exhibition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company opened the second and third online exhibition halls and will continuously open other exhibition halls depending on the series of injection molding machines this year.
Once accessing the official homepage for Woojin Plaimm’s online exhibition, anyone can easily enter after simply registering a name, email address, contact number and company name. The exhibition is configured in a format of road view, which allows users to move by just clicking each moving point. In addition, video clips are played for each series of products with detailed explanations about the operation of the injection molding machines from the experts. The 360-degree rotational image is also available once clicking each injection molding machine. When a user clicks the major parts of the machine — such as the main body section, injection section or hydraulic section — it is possible to enjoy the enlarged naked image of the clicked section more clearly with the cover removed. Moreover, a user can download the brochures and application manuals for each series of machines. In particular, the most notable part in the online exhibition is the implementation of the real-time chatting system, which allows users to chat with the sales or technical support personnel if he or she has a question regarding the displayed items or technologies during the exhibition. Along with this, an email window is opened for users who are not familiar with the chatting application to leave questions so that the sales or technical staff can respond directly.
Online exhibitions planned to open at all times to introduce new main items
In the first online exhibition last December, Woojin Plaimm focused mainly on introducing the A5 series, including the DL-A5, which is a premium two-platen direct pressure injection molding machine; the TH-A5, which is a premium hydraulic toggle type injection molding machine; and the TE-A5, a premium full electric and toggle type injection molding machine.
In the second online exhibition, that launched Feb. 22, the company weighted the quality and efficiency of products that are two fundamental differentiators of products. In that sense, the company introduced the G5 series including, DL-G5, a two-platen power-saving direct pressure injection molding machine that was newly completed in its performance; the TB-G5, which is a hydraulic toggle type power-saving injection molding machine that has a compact mechanical structure with a high hydraulic efficiency based on the optimized servo-pump driving control technique; and the TE-G5, an electric power-saving injection molding machine, which guarantees the operating precision by employing a high-performance AC servo-motor and provides a fast process with independent control in each section.
In April, Woojin Plaimm opened its third online exhibition. This shed light on the efforts of Woojin Plaimm with regard to the manufacturing quality and productivity improvement. In this exhibition, the VH series was introduced. This included the VH-RG5, a low-floor vertical power-saving hydraulic injection molding machine; the VHA-RS, a vertical insert injection molding machine that balanced both technique and flexibility; and the VHL-RS, a vertical insert injection molding machine that lowered the height of a table in the vertical injection structure.
Woojin Plaimm will continue to open online exhibitions to introduce major models in the future, including the “Online Factory Tour,” beginning June 22.
Woojin Plaimm is exerting its best efforts in order to continue a smooth communication with customers through the online exhibitions. In addition, the company will put its best effort into the development of various contents to communicate with customers consistently, as well as to raise the customers’ satisfaction with a new form of services in the untact era.
