Anchor Packaging Inc.
United Kingdom-based plastic packaging company RPC Group plc has terminated talks with U.S. private equity firm Bain Capital, but is still in negotiation with New York-based Apollo Global Management for a buyout.
Anchor Packaging Inc. will close its Mount Vernon, Ky., thermoforming plant and move production of its Microlite deli containers from there to Jonesboro, Ark., by mid-August.
ST. LOUIS -- Food packaging major Anchor Packaging Inc. has acquired a building in Jonesboro. Ark., that it is converting to a warehouse and in which it eventually will introduce manufacturing.
