Auto supplier ABC Technologies Holdings Inc. is buying United Kingdom-based fuel tank molder TI Fluid Systems plc for about 1 billion pounds (US$1.2 billion), a deal that will more than double the Toronto-based plastics manufacturer's global footprint and greatly expand its product portfolio.
Two of the world's largest plastics companies are combining as Amcor plc announces an $8.43 billion deal to buy Berry Global Group Inc. The deal combines Amcor's global flexibles and regional containers businesses with Berry's regional flexibles and global containers and closures businesses.
The companies' partnership is built around supporting the service aspects of the companies and W. Müller providing new sales equipment.
