Who's the best plastics processor in North America? Simple question, but tough to answer. I'm tempted to give you a list of the top 10 — no, let's make that 20.

We had a very impressive list of companies trying for the Plastics News 2023 Processor of the Year award. The number of nominees was close to a record, and the quality of the entries was very strong.

When Mack Molding Co. won Plastics News' Processor of the Year award in 2006, it was a great comeback story. Today Mack's story may be even better: a custom injection molder and contract manufacturer that's managed to keep growing and changing, and now it is poised for a new generation of leaders to take charge.
