PVC extruder Veka Inc. selected Morganton, N.C., for an $18 million manufacturing plant that will create 102 jobs over five years.
Veka Recycling Ltd. has added a waste PVC collection and processing facility to its United Kingdom operation with the acquisition of family-run Trafford Services for an undisclosed sum.
The Sendenhorst, Germany-based Veka Group will take over one of its competitors, Gealan Holding GmbH, in a deal that will move all Gealan subsidiaries and activities in Europe to one of the leading extruders of PVC-U profile systems for doors and windows.
