Polypropylene prices rose in June after two months of drops. Senior reporter Frank Esposito says the change in direction is from fluctuating polymer-grade propylene feedstock prices. Prices for other commodity resins could also be in flux as the Gulf Coast region recovers from Hurricane Beryl and companies consider whether they should stockpile materials ahead of the hurricane season.
